On December 8, the draw for the 2024 America’s Cup was officially announced. Defending champion Argentina met old rival Chile, and Brazil met Colombia.
The 2024 America’s Cup will start on June 20 next year, and the final will be held on July 14, 2024. The competition venue is Hard Rock Stadium, currently the home stadium of the NFL team Miami Dolphins.
The specific groups are as follows:
Group A: Argentina, Peru, Chile, Canada/Trinidad and Tobago
Group B: Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Jamaica
Group C: United States, Uruguay, Panama, Bolivia
Group D: Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Costa Rica/Honduras
