Former Arsenal player Sagna accepted an interview with the media and expressed his views on the Gunners’ championship prospects this season.
Sagna said: “In my opinion, even if Arsenal performed poorly some time ago, they have always been in the championship queue. It’s not just Arsenal, all championship teams have encountered trouble.”
“Manchester City have struggled and dropped points. If it was just Arsenal then I would be worried, but every team in the title race has dropped points and they will drop points again.”
“The Gunners need to take a break mentally. After the long season, the players have to report to the national team. There is no way.”
