Manchester United coach Ten Hag said in an interview with the media that the club needs to sign players in compliance with Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules, rather than taking it for granted like the media does.
Ten Hag said: “You (the media) keep telling me, introduce this player, sign that player, but you must comply with FFP regulations.”
“So you have to recruit, and within those rules, you have to build the best squad possible.”
