Alisson: We were full of passion in the last 20 minutes, all games are important

In the 16th round of the Premier League, Liverpool defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 away from home. After the game, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson was interviewed.

Alisson said: “We had a good game plan before the game – good start, good continuity and good finish. But this is football, this is a game you can’t predict and sometimes everything is done because A lot of things don’t work and you don’t have time during the game to find out what’s going wrong.”

“For this, you have to change your mindset quickly and sometimes it has to do with the passion we have on the field. In the last 20 minutes of the game, our players were passionate and never gave up, and ended up getting two goals. Payback. It was a really tough game, the way they played made it difficult for us to find space and create chances.”

“The opponent’s counterattack is very strong, they have fast players up front, they can control the ball and play very, very well. They had chances to score in the first half, they had penalties and free kicks, but in these situations We handled it very well. After we conceded the goal, we made some progress in controlling the ball, created more chances through mobility and personal ability, scored two goals and won the game.”

“We know there will be big challenges and strong opponents in December (at home against Manchester United and Arsenal), but in the Premier League all games are important and all games have the same value. The most important thing is how you feel about the game. Enthusiasm, the next challenge we have to face is the most important thing, so we are going to give it our all.”
